Gripping History has a great deal to offer to pupils across the KS2 age range. Whether your topic is Stone Age to Iron Age, Britain's settlement by the Anglo Saxons and Scots (410-793AD) or the Viking and AngloSaxon Struggle for the Kingdom of England (793AD-1066AD), we will be able to create a school visit programme which meets the needs of your pupils. For those schools branching out to address the Medieval Period or Magna Carta, we can create day to mee your needs. Whether you would like an overview at the start of your topic, an 'in depth' study of a particular aspect (culture, religion, language, law) or an imaginative culmination for the end of your topic, we will offer a range of possibilities and devise a school visit programme to suit you.
If your school is in Cambridgeshire, you might also be interested in a local study linked to the Anglo-Saxons or Vikings. We are able to offer a programme based on the local historical record (local archaeology or written sources) or significant local figures. (St Etheldreda, Guthrum, Hereward the Wake etc)

We regulary cater for groups of 30, 60, 90 and 120 children and can adapt the timetable to suit these groupings.
If you have a larger group of children, you might prefer to book two whole day visits, as this will allow greater levels of participation and engagement from the children.
